Mr. K wanted me to tell everyone that he wants to know how you did on your AP tests (if you had him). His email address is kotsogp@dearborn.k12.mi.us.

Yesterday was so great! After work I went over to Mere's for a Mary Kay party. It was one of the ladies that was doing makeup at the senior party. I came in a little later, but i still got to do all of the hand, lip and makeup stuff (I only missed the facial portion). I got a little free baggie of stuff and I also won a free hand cream. As for what I bought, I got a foundation and a lip mask set. Foundation is constant struggle for me. I have yellow undertones, so most foundations are too orange on my skin, even if they are the right shade. But this one looks really nice. It was 14 dollars. Then I bought this set of lip exfoliant and moisturizer. It is amazing! My lips are so smooth and soft! That was 18 dollars.Since this was our first time having a Mary Kay party, we all got 10 dollars off our first order, which brought mine to 24 dollars. Not bad. After that we went to Taco Bell and then talked about our weddings. What a girlie night!

I've been working a lot lately. It's not bad. I like to work when there is actually something for me to do there. But boy do I miss the disco store from last year. I missing getting paid to sit and read. Other than that I have been pretty bored. I haven't really hung out with people much this summer. I guess that is partly my fault for not taking the initiative to call people. A few days ago I went on a calling rampage, and everyone was either already hanging out with someone or didn't answer the phone. And the there's the "yeah, we should really hang out sometime" rut. I've said it, you've probably said it, but it never seems to happen. Well, I'm going to try harder to make it happen because I am really bored of doing nothing but work, housework, and going on errands.

When will the terrorism end? Please pray for, or at least think about, the 37 killed and 700 injured in England today.

I went to work today. I had a good time because Dave was working and he always makes me laugh. The bad thing is that Jan (one of the assistant managers) is back. She always talks trash behind everyone's back. I'll just stick with the thing that makes me the most upset though. I am sick of her and a lot of other people talking badly about Bev. Bev is a sweet old woman about 75, but she acts and looks a bit older. A lot of people get mad because she is slow doing stuff and sometimes falls asleep on breaks. The worst part is hearing Jan and one of the other leads speak badly about her, calling her lazy and worthless. Today we were standing around and Curtis says to us "I convinced Bev that there is a tunnel going from New York to London." and then he, Jan and another employee start laughing hysterically! How CRUEL! I couldn't believe it and just walked away, not saying anything. It is pure cruelty to do that to someone who is so trusting and who may have a hard time discerning. Seriously, these people act like Bev being at work is taking money away from them or something. If I am 75, and for some reason have to still work I can only pray that there won't be horrible people like that to work with me. Why can't people respect seniors? Do we really need to laugh at someone who can't help a lot of things they do? We are all going to be there someday.

I have worked the past three nights, and tonight is the last night I have to work. I am going out with Jenni on tuesday night. I haven't really seen anyone very much yet this summer. I need to see you people! I am free from thursday night on (I work both weekend days, but I get out at 6). Comment if you want to plan a time to hang out because I am becoming a sad little hermit girl!

How ironic is this?  If you have any sense of political humor at all (on either side of the aisle) read that, it's hilarious, and true!

Ok, so being the dork that I am I decided to call for my AP scores at the first possible opportunity.

French:2 I knew I wasn't going to pass, but this makes me feel good because you can write your name on the paper and get a 1.

US Gov:5 This is really exciting because I wanted to get a 5 on an AP test in high school, and this is my first and only one.

Comparative Gov:4 I never thought I would be able to pull this one off, but all the boredom and seemingly pointless facts paid off!

I will get 4 credits from UM for each of the government tests. That means that if they accept everything they should, I will have 25 credits (enough to technically be a sophomore).

Thank you Lord for blessing me!

Today I had planned to go to the registrar at HFCC to get them to sign off on the bio class I took fall 04.  They want to make sure that it was a regular high school class, not a class where a college professor came to teach at high school,or a college class that had only high schoolers in it.  But they are closed on fridays during the summer.  Sooooooo....... I decided to go to Bed Bath and Beyond and buy the quilt I wanted for my room next year. Cecile.  I was also planning on buying this lamp, but it seemed like that was the only lamp they were pushing on college students, so I would probably be just one among many with it.

Yesterday I watched Pulp Fiction. Well, some of it. Well, ok maybe like 5 mins of it. It was one of those things where I was actually watching something else, but I switched to it during commercials. I really don't know what it is supposed to be about, but I tuned in when the lady was asking John Travolta questions on camera. She asked him if he listens, or if he waits to talk. This really touched me. I prayed about it, and I realized that I have been waiting to talk far more than I have been listening. I sincerely apologize to everyone if I haven't been listening to you. I am going to try to be a better listener.

I went for a walk yesterday and got sidetracked to my elementary school playground. I started swinging, and found that it is realy relaxing. I love to swing! I was listening to Mercy Me, swinging, looking at the clouds and just thinking. It was made me feel so great! I highly suggest it to anyone feeling a little down.

This past week has been quite and experience. Orientation, Stephen leaving, graduation, senior party.

Graduation went well. I was really nervous about my speech, but when I got up there and started speaking, it all went away. My little ad lib in the speech went off without Dodd pulling me off stage. It is nice to know that someone can still speak about their faith without being condemned. Randy and Matt's speeches were very good, and all three were different, so it didn't get too borning. It started raining right when they called my name, but it only drizzled and then it stopped. It was just enough to cool us off.

My dad got me a car for my graduation and birthday. It is a 2002 Sebring, steel blue.

Update about the senior party to come.

Yesterday was a bad day. Stephen left. I'm scared about college. The neighbor is harassing my mother. And this morning I realized the whole "This isn't the end, it's the beginning" is wrong. It isn't the beginning OR the end. It is the middle. We will still be going to school for at least another 4 years. This is just another checkpoint.

Today was a good day. My roomate emailed me for the first time It was great, she totally went off about the play she just finished that sounded a lot like something Edsel would do. I like people that talk alot about that kind of stuff. She still seems really nice.

I have worked all weekend, but today they had me go home early because there were way too many people there. I missed out on 2 hours of time and a half, but at least I am home and can do some homework. I need to finish my painting and wrte my art sketch. No to mention I need to take my nails off because it is getting really hard to type.

I went to see A Midsummer Night's Dream today. It was the best play have seen the drama class put on. All of my friends did a wonderful job and really made the play a comedy like it is supposed to be! The play within a play was better than any version I have ever seen, including the movie and college production. Congratulations Drama Class!

Yesterday Stephen and I went to See Star Wars Ep. III, and it was awesome! It was so much better than the first two. Jarjar was only in one scene and he didn't talk!A lot of the ways that Lucas showed everything piecing together were really cool. I do have two questions though (maybe some of you fans can answer them for me). In Return of the Jedi, Luke asks Leia if she remembers her mother and she says yes and talks about her being sad and how she puts her makeup on and stuff. Does her adoptive mother die too, because she couldn't have meant Padme. Second, if Vador really wanted to find his son, wouldn't his step-brother's house be one of the most obvious places to look? Oh, BTW I thought the way James Earl Jones took on Hayden Christensen's tone inflection at the end totally rocked.

Today was quite an eventful day. My mom and I went to Channel 7's "Brightest and Best." I don't watch channel 7, but they took pictures and video clips of us and they apparently play them in the summer. It was pretty fun. It was weird to be around a group of my peers who were actually calm. They took a picture of people from our geographic area (me, the girl from Fordson named Farah or something who was very nice, the guy from Dearborn named Inch or something (don't know the first name), some random lutheran school girl and one more, i think maybe Divine Child.) They some fun shots of people going to UM and MSU. There were maybe 5 times more people going to UM. We did a hat toss which looked really nice since we all had different colored hats. Some schools really deck their grads out. I don't think we should be too ornate, but I do think we should have cords for a few select activities/positions. I used Stephen's cap and gown becase we haven't gotten ours yet. I didn't bring his stole because I thought no one else would be earing it, but I should have.

Kubbles had a rotten/loose tooth so we had to take him to the vet this afternoon. Poor cat, he's getting really old. They wiggled it and it cmae out. They gave him some antibiotics. We have to change his insulin regemin to 3 units twice per day as opposed to the old 5 units once per day.
